How do I install prefabs??

A: Simple, for obsidian conflict you must install the .vmf files that you want to install as prefabs, into steamapps\username\sourcesdk\bin\source2007\bin\prefabs.

Ok, I got the prefabs installed, but how do I put them in my map?

Easy, follow the instructions to learn how to insert prefabs.

Method 1:

1. Open up hammer, start up a new map, or open an old one.

2. Select the entitiy.PNG Entity Tool or just press Shift + E3. Drag your mouse an inch or two below the maximize, minimize, and exit button, there should be 2 drop down boxes, the top saying primitives, and the second one saying block or brush. Change the settings of the top dropdown bar to say prefabs, change the settings of the bottom dropdown bar to the prefab you'd like to open. second.PNG

4. Left click in one of the 2d views, or even the 3d view, right click on the green entity in the 2d view and click create. Amazing! you just created a prefab at the exact location you wanted using the entity tool, the viewports, and the prefab section.

Method 2:

1. Open up hammer, start up a new map, or open an old one.

2. Select the brush creator tool, which looks like this First.PNG3. Drag your mouse an inch or two below the maximize, minimize, and exit button, there should be 2 drop down boxes, the top saying primitives, and the second one saying block or brush. Change the settings of the top dropdown bar to say prefabs, change the settings of the bottom dropdown bar to the prefab you'd like to open. second.PNG4. Below those two boxes something like this should be there third.PNG, click insert original prefab to insert the exact prefab where your cursor is placed in the 2d view. After clicking that, your prefab should be on screen, thank you for using the Obsidian Conflict Map Database to download prefabs, and thank you for having the patience of reading this whole page.
